'Reverence'

Morana, the Slavic goddess of winter, death and rebirth, is resting on her throne on a peaceful night. She pensively looks into the distance as she ponders the fragility of human life and how wasteful people are with this gift.

She is surrounded by burning candles - each representing a living person. All of them will burn out one day, the melting wax is a solemn reminder of the inevitable end…

However, she doesn’t dwell in melancholy… she’s met all those souls before and she will welcome and invite them to sit with her as old friends, before she lights new candles for them and sends them back to the earthly pane to waste another lifetime.
